CHAXI BELT is woven from t-shirt yarn handcut in the studio from reclaimed t-shirts. It is then carefully woven using a meticulous mathematical formula to create a gradient effect. The Chaxi belt pays homage to sunrise and sunsets, and the cycles of transformation and discovery which take place in transition from childhood into adulthood.
All belts are handmade in the atelier, and are one-of-a-kind, with colors depending on availability of reclaimed materials in the studio. We will reach out to you with our options prior to weaving, or you may provide us with your own t-shirts to transform.
